My husband converted to Catholicism shortly before our wedding and has been asking for a crucifix necklace for YEARS. When searching for Miraculous Medals or Crucifix's for my sons, I honestly didn't know how to find a durable, trusted piece like my father once wore. I thought his chain and Medal were stainless steel because they were sturdy (He was a NYC Construction Worker). I couldn't find stainless steel. Should I get gold? Sterling Silver? But Sterling Silver tarnishes, so that was out of the question. I wanted one big enough to be a "man's" piece of jewelry but not one that screams "look at my jewelry". I received my first Miraculous Medal (more purchases to come!) and I was very pleased. My son is happy with this birthday present and I feel good knowing Our Mother will always be with him. I won't be around forever and a Mother's Love, "Our Mother's Love" should be with everyone. I'll be buying another for my other son and come Christmastime, I'll be ordering the Crucifix's. My husband and I bought this for our son who turned 24. We were worried he will not like it because he's a very simple man and not into jewelry, but we were surprised that he loved it. I love the necklace. Heavy duty and bombproof but not even close to absurd. It’s very comfortable and beautiful. I’m a firefighter and didn’t want something that would snap easily. Guys at work made several comments about how nice it looks and liked the weight of it. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants a necklace that is manly but doesn’t look like it belongs at wrestle-mania!

I ordered this miraculous medal hoping that it would be of decent quality and last a few years. I work on traffic signals by trade and that means I’m in a bucket truck in extreme heat all summer long. My last medal didn’t make it through the summer without rusting almost completely. This one from Ark and Armor however, I believe will not only last more than just a summer, but after seeing and feeling the quality of it, I believe it will last my lifetime even in the rough environment that I work in. Truly, it is remarkably beautiful and of stunning quality. I cannot say thank you enough.
